I'M ON WORDPRESS!!!

I started using blogspot because I wasn't familiar with Wordpress, but now I have a Wordpress page, which I prefer to use more!

I'm gradually going to move over the pictures/posts that I've put up in blogspot to wordpress because I NEED TO! I have some cool pictures that I took.

I may use this blogspot some day, I just need to figure out it's purpose... Possibly another blog,

but other then that... Here is my WORDPRESS URL!!!

F2 Runway Show

I went to bed at 6AM (due to all these FIDM projects for final) & needed to wake up at 7, because call time to volunteer for the F2 Runway Show was 8:30.

Despite that whole "FML" situation, I still was anxious to volunteer & practically sleepwalked my way to California Market Center. Thank gooodness it's walking distance my place.

Here's pictures from today!!!

& at the end of all that, I feel accomplished because I met cool people, passed out all my business cards that I had with me, (I just refilled my case), & managed to score some pictures of the show with my broken camera.

F.A.M.E Aids & Cancer Awareness Charity Fashion Show

I traveled on my own from DTLA to Sherman Oaks by Metro subway & bus to volunteer for this Charity Fashion Show.Thank goodness it was my second time at the venue because I knew where I was going. Despite the anxiety of traveling to somewhere new in Los Angeles, it is an eye opener & I fall more in <3 with California...

My new Nikon camera is being repaired! So I had to use my old & broken camera and my phone to catch these images.
The clothes & models were beautiful.

Heal The Bay!

Humanitarians/volunteers in the community inspire me!
Especially when I see little kids being involved because they are starting off at a young age doing good things for the community, our creatures and our environment. I'm a volunteer myself, have been for 5 years now; I'm in college and in a whole new place, but I wish I could volunteer as often as I would like.
Being involved in clubs at school definitely help motivate me to give back to the community which is an amazing feeling; If you haven't you should try it!

Started off the morning by heading for the Heal the Bay event at Dockweller State Beach to help with their beach clean up.

Heal the bay is an amazing non-profit environmental group to restore Santa Monica Bay!

Check their website http://www.healthebay.org/about-bay

Ford did a pretty awesome thing by letting people test drive their cars & would give back $50 per person who were in the car to Heal the Bay!
Thank you Ford and for the people test driving/being in the car for having such amazing hearts.

Sunshine was slowly making it's way over

Mounds of trash collected by volunteers
Raffle drawing at the end of event.

Congrats to Pete who was the lucky guy who won the 1st prize.

To conclude, FIDM Student council help raise an additional $350 for Heal the Bay event by just doing a simple thing!!! We participated in the Ford's "Drive one 4 ur Beach" and they donated $50 dollars to everyone who test drives their cars including the passengers.

Lets get motivated; be inspired to help our community, environment & our creatures! Doing simple things to help can create hope & have great impact.
