Thursday Night; the start of my 4 day weekends!

So I wasn't gonna go club, because I was busy emailing people, and I didn't feel like it, but I had a change of "heart"...

I was looking at my "closet" and thinking what to wear; and typical reply would be..."I have no clothes!", but luckily I remembered that I bought a dress at practically my favorite store (since im a broke _ _ _ college student) ; FIDM SCHOLARSHIP STORE!

yes,the FIDM scholarship store because,
  1. Affordable
  2. Walking distance
  3. They have a lot of torrid (plus size brand) clothing; My size!

Blurry, but there's my leopard sparkly rooshed (?) dress... & my tummy! lol.
(taking picture in the bathroom, of course... haha)

ANYWAYS. . .

Met Johannas friend, Scoooter, then walked to bus stop for bus 4 to West "La, La babyy!"- jonas brothers (my current anthem song haha.); barely made it in time...

During the bus ride, met an interesting gay drunk couple. talked about "castro" in sanfran cuz scooters from there... talked about interesting festivals and how crazy and open (yes like someones legs. hahaha.)the "castro" can be; interesting topic i might add!

Definitely roadtrippin to attend their GayPride? festival or something for the experience, Not that I'm gay. I'm totally straight like a pencil. (and by experience, I don't mean experimenting... I mean LOOKING. ... i mean not looking, but walking around! hahahaha. . )

Bus driver was crazy.... jerkin, jerkin all over the place. lol. Johanna was sitting in the back, in the middle, and "flew" and she grabbed the pole gracefully and those hobos in the bus, got a free 5 second show. LMFAO. just keeeeding johanna! me love you. (:

Well to move on....

Got into the club for FREEEE, cuz I'm "cool like that!" HAHA. just keeeding agian. It was college night @ rage in West Hollllywoooood!

Danced for a bit... I was so awesome, I shed glitter!
we left the club at around 1...

Next stop... Millions of (fricken) Milkshakes!!! I can cross this off my "To Do List in LA"!
Online said it was close, but clearly it wasn't!
Guess what I ordered? A fricken "Miley Cyrus"! and I mean I do like her music and clothing choice, but I'm not a fan of hers, or a fan of herself in general.

and guess what I said that was so stupid? " I asked for a "Miley Cyrus" with cookie dough" and that ALREADY came with cookie dough! errr, cashier probably thought I was weird. or lovin cookie dough. but I MEANT TO SAY NUTELLA! ;(

but it was alllll goood.

next stop after MM, was PHO CITI!!!!
open "24/7" gotta be, because across the streets are like night clubs.

ordered 2 pc eggroll & combo pan fried noodles. yum!

After "dinner" we hurriedly walked to the bus stop... and again, our bus ride was interesting.
I WAS SO TIRED; I WAS DELIRIOUS! and apparently funny. lol.

so happen we were talking about tampons or vaginas.
and I said something that made everyone laugh/giggle for a minute straight.
(i'm not going to say it cuz its embarrassing, but ask my friends johanna, or janet, or heather, or tazme!) lol.

& also when walking home, we were still giggling about my "comment". & I said something in regards to my comment that was funny, and ...dirrrrrrty. lmfao. won't quote what I said, because it involves a boys name. ;D

slept at 3am and had to wake up at 8 for my 1st day of interning. I was like fakkk. lol.

"Rebel Chic"

For my merchandising, costing, and specification class, our homework was to
  1. Describe the demographic/psychographic customer profile
  2. Make a visual collage to show who is your customer

This is what I happily (& i'm not being sarcastic) stayed up doing last night... took me an estimate of 3 hours.
  • 1 hr looking for pictures at the FIDM annex & printing them out
  • 30 mins cutting paper out & laying it out
  • 1hr putting it together
  • 10 mins hand drawing the "Rebel Chic" part, because I forgot to print out the title
  • 30 -45 mins adding finishing touches
Click, Click! = bigger :D

I was on my "Artistic Mode" when doing this project. I love when I'm on artistic mode. It makes me happy.
I turn up some music and forget all the shit in the world.

Even though making a collage can be the simplest thing in the world, just slap on some paper on a board. Then "Ta-Da!" its done.

Being me, I actually needed to lay out each piece with a sense of direction or work it like a puzzle.

While I was doing this project, I had to "Go all out" because I wanted to kill.... wait, "hurt" 2 birds with one stone. lol.
Once I get my project back, I hope get back!
but anyways, I wanted to hang it on my "wall of fame";

Next to my color and design project that I did my 1st quarter at FIDM...

Click, Click! = bigger :D

wait, (continuation...) actually I want "hurt 3 birds with one stone" because I wanted to also use it for my portfolio...

So I had to do some crafting with my "handy dandy... glue gun!" thank goodness I asked my mother to send them to me.

I added some chains, pearl and attempted to make (foil) studs to make it more of a 2D effect.

I was soo happy with my finish product! I fell in "love"...

I had a 9 hour class day at FIDM, so I had to lug my poster around campus for 6 hours before merch class. Sadly, the edges of my border got crinkly and my chain detached, luckily not the whole piece!

Let me tell you one thing... or a few things actually.

I thought I did a good job on my collage.
It "stood out". It was complimented on. It was pretty!

but you know what killed it? my presence when I talked about it in class!

At first I projected good, but then it slowly died down because I got nervous and lost, and pretty much ended with the words "and yeah?" lol.

I dislike how I get shy or nervous when I talk in front of the class. I use to be fine, I actually use to want to be the first, or well second one to present to class because I wanted to get it over with.

I just wish I made my collage "proud"!!!

My Closet Italia ...

I did a double volunteer shift... Worked at DTLA Pop Up Shop then headed on the bus to WEST HOLLYWOOD/MELROSE.
estimated bus ride: 53 mins...
NOT, 25 mins bus ride & 30 MIN WALK!!!! IN THE HOT SUN! ohhhmahhgadddd.
yes, GOOGLE MAPS, YOU FAILED ME TODAY! well thank goodness I love adventures. So yeah, the bus route ended... but not at my intended destination... so I had to hurry and walk my ass to the event location, MY CLOSET ITALIA <3... So I practically walked a mile... in the hot sun, but I was grateful that there was cool art stuffs randomly... I mean its MELROSE! I didn't have time to enjoy the stores, I just passed them. I did make it in time though... I haven't been so burnt like this since being back in Hawaii. ___ So I got to "MY CLOSE ITALIA" and it was a cute store... their event was a LIVE PHOTOSHOOT with a DJ. I scored a shirt, but it was one size to small, so i had to suck in my stomach pretty much the whole time. It was nerve reckkin... So anyways I was told I can choose any shirt that I wanted too... There was soo much shirt designs, cool ones too... but out of the whole collection, guess what I choose? an LA SHIRT!!! yes an LA shirt, the one where the L goes through the A... yeah, so it was a cool LA shirt and not those "i <3 la" tourist shirts. Anyways, the whole night was cool. I got to sneak some pictures, didnt look too professional, but I needed to take pictures because it was soo tempting. especailly with the live models and all. Everyone else had those 3K canon professional cameras, but me. I had a crappy half broken camera, trinna make it work. Majority of my pictures are blurry. Which means... i need to ask my daddy for an upgrade ASAP! Well to end this, I met an awesome new friend melanie :)

I needed to start something...

I've been meaning to do something more with my life... other then browsing the internet, school and volunteering. Maybe starting my own business, but that's quite difficult for me to do since I'm just an amateur and don't know much.

Let me just tell you that I have big dreams that I want to turn into reality. My heart hurts (in a good way) just thinking about my dreams because it yearns for it...

Even though I'm taking up Apparel Industry Management at FIDM because I want to pursue fashion for a career, I FEEL, CRAVE, INSPIRE to be a HUMANITARIAN...not that I don't feel, crave, inspire fashion, because I do.. but being a humanitarian is soo much more and is on the top of my career list, actually if I could, I WILL make that my "lifes work"... (you don't know what your missing if you haven't tried volunteering & dedicating your time to help others in need, just saying)...

Humanitarian:
–adjective
1.
having concern for or helping to improve the welfare and happiness of people.
2.
of or pertaining to ethical or theological humanitarianism.
3.
pertaining to the saving of human lives or to the alleviation of suffering: a humanitarian crisis.
–noun
4.
a person actively engaged in promoting human welfare and social reforms, as a philanthropist.
5.
a person who professes ethical or theological humanitarianism.

I WILL fulfill this "prophecy"!, well actually its the definition of what a humanitarian is, but still I want to be/do exactly what it says...

but to move on of this subject, well lets just end it now, because i'm hella tired.
